What Pray Tell is the GLAM DOLL STRUT, you ask? The Glam Doll Strut is only the hottest DIVA event to hit the streets of Fort Lauderdale! On October 15th, thousands of Divas will descend on SW 2nd Street wearing some of the most fashionable, funny and fabulous DIVA attire ever contemplated. The Strut goes off in royal style as our teams shimmy and shake for the Judges panel. This year FOUR teams will be crowned Queen of Glam-A-THON' 2011 based on team size. So bring your girls, your boys, your kids and pets and form a team today! Be creative with your name and outfits and be the team who raises the MOST money to take home the prized crown! No team is too big or too small! You can join a team already formed too!

How Much Does the Strut Cost? The cost is only $40 (tax deductible) per person to join the Strut! Teams raising the most money through registrations and donations can compete for the CROWN! Not only will you be raising money for LOCAL women affected by breast cancer, you will also receive a t-shirt and FREE ADMISSION to the Tiki Chic-y Party on October 14th, and receive ANOTHER fabulous swag bag filled with DIVA essentials!

Who Can Strut? ANYONE can join Lynn Martinez, our Deco Drive Diva, as she leads the high heel hilarity in Grande dame style. Hob-nob with your favorite radio and TV darlings as they primp right alongside you. Men are encouraged to support their women at this event, and children and pets are a fab addition! Much More Than a Strut... Before and after the Strut you'll enjoying shopping with our vendors at the Glam-A-THON' festival in Esplanade Park filled with super-cute things chosen especially for divas (did someone say fabulous jewelry and gorgeous makeup???). Take a break and chill at the Harmonie & Fuze Lounge with specialty cocktails, and activities fit for a Queen. This year we have some new splurge-worthy additions -the sinfully delicious Catered Bliss and 4 Alarm Pizza Food Trucks along with the devilishly yummy Feverish Ice Cream cart. A portion of all food sold will benefit Glam-A-THON'. Trust us, your diet will forgive you. You'll nosh on complimentary cupcakes at the Publix Cupcake Cabana, cool off with an icy cold Perrier, and dance your heels off on the Fuze dance stage. All this and there's still more fun in store!

Who Benefits From the Funds Raised by Glam-a-Thon, Inc.?

Broward Health Foundation, the fundraising arm of Broward Health, is pleased to announce their partnership with the Glam-A-THON event series, in support of breast cancer awareness.  Glam-a-thon proceeds will be donated to the Broward Health Foundation and be used to provide funding for women battling breast cancer, mammograms, diagnostic testing and special assistance for medication, wigs and other ancillary items at the Lillian S. Wells Women's Health Center at Broward Health Broward General Medical Center and the Lisa Boccard Fund at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center.
